PROJECT TO IMPROVE WATER SUPPLY IN TANGA CITY SECOND PHASE (PHASE II)
The project started its implementation in November, 2020 by conducting an inspection of the relevant areas (site survey), as well as the processes of purchasing equipment and the implementation of the project officially started in April, 2021 and is expected to be completed in March, 2023. This project costs Tsh.8.4 Billion and will is implemented with support funds from TIB Bank, where it will improve access to clean water service for 24 hours for the residents of Tanga and Muheza.
Repair and improvement of the existing water production and treatment plant in Mowe
Construction of a large water tank with a capacity of 1 million liters in Mowe area
